Act 1 Boss Prep
Early damage and block checks
The first boss-prep page is a practical hub for players who die before their deck plan comes online.
Front-loaded damage
Enough block without perfect draws
Draft goal
Your deck must survive the next boss, not a hypothetical late-game combo. Act 1 preparation should score cards by immediate fight coverage: damage to end dangerous phases, block that works on imperfect hands, and enough flexibility to avoid being locked into a slow plan.

Reward discipline
Act 1 is where many returning players over-draft for a future deck. A card that looks perfect in a finished engine can be worse than a plain attack if the next boss asks for immediate pressure. Skip medium cards that dilute the opening hand and take practical cards that reduce HP loss.
- Add damage before slow scaling if the deck is still weak in hallway fights.
- Do not spend the last pre-boss reward on a card that needs three more pieces.
- Hold or buy a potion when it covers the boss turn your deck cannot answer.
